We just started
your studio this past September and what a pleasant positive change from our
former studio. Aside from your welcoming faculty, everything from the
class curriculum to the Halloween and holiday performances were just so
creative. Thank you for these fun filled experiences for our children.
I am so happy that your entire year is not focused on recital recital recital! I
really look forward to what is ahead. My daughters are just loving this
year.

Jodi,
I personally
want to thank you for 14 years of teaching and disciplining and molding Erika
into this person who is confident and not afraid to go into the world on her
own. I fear for her because I am a mom and she will always be my little girl.
You and the teachers bring out so much more in these girls. You have shown them
to bring the very best that they can be whether it be on stage or in life and
for that I will always be grateful. It does take a village to raise a child. I
hope you know that these girls love and respect you soooo much. I personally am
going to miss the excitement /nuttyness of competition but mostly I really am
going to miss you and the staff. I'm typing this email through my tears. You
will Always be a part of us. Forever in our hearts and memories....

Dear Jodi,
I know you are probably tired of hearing me say "thank you", however, you need
to know how very fortunate I feel to have you, not only in my life, but in
Ariana's. Because of you, Ariana is able to continue her passion for dance, and
have the time of her life. I also feel extremely fortunate to have you, a
true "role model", in my daughter's life. On a professional level, you have
given these kids, especially Ariana, life-long experiences which I know for a
fact, is not provided at other studios. The difference between you and others,
is that you do it from the heart; which makes it that more special. You look at
the child as a whole; you want that child not only to learn, but also enjoy the
experience. I am proud to be part of Moves & Motions, and I know that Ariana

Hi Jodi
As much as we as
parents complain - this has been such a huge part of our lives for so long – it
is going to be very hard to move on. I know I will be around. but it just wont
be the same

Saturday night was very difficult for me. It was such an emotional moment,
watching the girls hugging and crying – especially Lindsey hanging on to
Chelseas
leg and sobbing…. Its hard to believe we wont be watching her dance with these
girls anymore….. 15 years has come and gone so quickly, where did the time go?
Chelsea does not cry often – but watching her Saturday evening broke my heart –
I could have never guessed this would be so difficult to walk away from, for
both of us. I know my daughter is the person she is because of her years at
Moves and Motions, the ups and downs and drama aside - Moves and Motions has
been her second home. We absolutely spend more time with all of you than we do
our actual family.
Thank you and your teachers for all their hard work to make Chelsea the dancer
she has become. I can not even imagine what life would be like if she hadn’t had
dance all these years.. I am so grateful to all of you for making this her life,
for showing her how rewarding this can be.
Jodi, thank you for trusting in her ability to teach- and to give her the
opportunity to work with the petite company- she grew so close to them, it was
such a rewarding experience for her – she absolutely loves and adores those
young ladies.
Thank you all for being such a huge part of our lives. None of you will ever be
forgotten!

hey jodi
i just thought that i would thank you for everything you have done for me the
past 16 yrs at your studio i will definitely stop by on saturdays and me and my
mom plan on coming to one of the competitions =) . . but you really have created
a huge part of my life that will become an amazing memory that i can look back
on . thank you so much for making me feel so welcome and part of a family . i
will miss dancing with everyone but once again dont worry you will see a lot of

After the amazing season we had last
year i cannot wait to return to my second home at Moves and Motions. Jodi, you
have created the most amazing family at the dance studio and you should know
that myself and everyone else appreciates and loves you for all the love and

I just wanted to tell you how impressed I was with the show today. I was amazed
at the high level of dance and choreography that these young girls were doing.
And the costumes and music and lighting were so spectacular. My husband and I
were blown away. We've both been to lots of dance recitals for kids in our
extended families and this was, by far, the best we've ever seen. You must be
very proud of what you've created! It was a such a treat.

out for the St. John's dance team yesterday and she made it,
she will probably get mad at me and say I am bragging but I
thought you should know because I believe it is from her 16
years of dancing at M&M that helped her and I thought

Hi ! Just
wanted to say what a group of young talented ladies we have in our group. The
girls were unbelievable .. You and your husband should be so proud of what you
have accomplished through the years .. As I sat there watching each child's
expression on their faces it brought such enjoyment to me knowing they were so
proud of themselves and enjoying what they were doing. It really helps getting
through the stress of every day we have to content with in our lives You really
are to be admired. with all you do to bring happiness and self confidence to

are such
entertainers they were so poised and beautiful... and so enjoyable to watch ..

I attended Juniper Park Community Day. I was a parent at
Moves & Motions many years ago. My daughter is grown now and in College
working towards her Masters Degree. I must say that so much of who she is
can be accredited to her time spent at Moves & Motions. I hope your
company parents realize how special their dance family is and how successful
their children will be because of it. The love support and friendships
made, have given her life skills that have brought her to where she is today.
I really enjoyed watching all of the performers and I just wanted to let you
know how special you and your staff are. I was thrilled to see so many

OK ladies take a bow you have both done a wonderful job in
making my little princess into a dancing ballerina Plus. The plus is for poise
confidence an the unlimited varying dance moves You Jodi with your teachers have
taught my daughter so well that it is now acknowledged by others. Thank you Gina
for inviting Elizabeth into the company, thank you Jodi for drilling into her
head the right count and that ballet is the basis of all dance. She did amazing
in the talent category at the pageant. Once again with big smile on our faces

I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU THAT THE SHOW
WAS GREAT AND THE KIDS LOOK BETER AND BETTER EVERY
TIME! BROOKE IS AMAZING. I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT SHE IS GOING TO BE
LIKE AS SHE GETS OLDER. WHEN I SAW
NICKY, IT BLEW ME AWAY. WHERE IS TIME GOING? I CANT
BELIEVE HOW MATURE HE IS ALREADY. IT HAS BEEN 20 YEARS ALREADY AND IT
SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY. I HOPE AND PRAY THE NEXT 20 YEARS WILL BE AS

Jodi...We found out this week that Maelynne was
accepted to both LaGuardia Arts and Frank Sinatra High School. I want to
thank you, your wonderful teachers, staff, and students for making this
possible. Maelynne only started dancing when she was 9. Moves and

I am sorry I never got to tell you how proud I am of all of you for
doing such a great job for "The Cure". It was really such a beautiful
experience for everyone. I was so touched by everyone's help and
support. When we were selling raffles people just couldn't spend enough.
They were so generous and willing to help. You and your Moves and
Motions family are so so lucky to have each other, I know you realize
that you really have an incredible bunch of woman and children at M&M
and as I've told you many times I am so grateful that Christina has been
with you for so long. You really have been such an important part of

I have to
tell you as much as parents may complain about the hectic dance schedule and
competitions, traveling to and from, I do miss it. It was a big part of my life
for so many years. So for all those that complain tell them to knock it off!

I have watched from the sidelines for quite a long time and have
always admired the mothers of the company dancers and their dedication
not only to their children, but to the teachers, the school and to
Jodi. After watching two days of the companies dancing this weekend and
watching not just the kids dancing, but the moms doing their usual
thing, I felt compelled to put my feelings in an e-mail to you so you
could let them know how people feel about their dedication and maybe
tell their daughters to take a step back now and then and realize,
without MOM, they wouldn't be where they are today, enjoying DANCE.
Thank you for making these girls great dancers and allowing their
moms to set a good example for being a good mom.

The friends I made at
M&M and the bonds that were formed will truly last forever. This would have been
my 13th year dancing at M&M and I am sad that I will be leaving. I could easily
say that M&M was like my second family and all the hours that I was there I can
say its my second home. I love each and everyone there. I
was proud to say that I was a dancer at M&M. I knew that if I ever need
anything I could run to a teacher, who truly are great, or run and talk to one
of the girls. M&M made me who I am today and not only taught me how to dance ,
taught me how to be a better person.
I know M&M will make it big after
all we " have the moves and the motions l0l " and "we are the best" . I honestly

I just wanted to tell you that for the last several years you have given my
daughter more then dance. You have given her the gift of friendship,

I would just like to say thank you for taking the time to look
into other things that might interest and benefit the kids.
I think what you're doing is such a noble and honest thing.
This gives me the opportunity to help my daughter realize that there are
many people in the world that need help and are far worse off than we
can ever imagine. Even though at this age they think that not
getting an outfit that they are dying for is the worst thing. So
this puts things in perspective for them. It's so wonderful.

must say not only because my daughter goes there but you have built a
fabulous school. Even though you have wonderful, fantastic teachers you

Marissa) and you can see the difference in year to year. Even my mother
says the same. And you started from a little store front school on Fresh
pond road. They are all such wonderful dancers. I love watching all of
